A small Perth team with a long memory
Registered in Perth since 2016. We build software, run IT and sort out the systems that businesses depend on — and we are honest about what we can and cannot do.
Mid-sized on purpose
Big enough that you are not dependent on one person’s calendar. Small enough that your account is not handed to whoever is free this week.
Our clients are established businesses with real operational systems: trades and construction, professional services, wholesale and logistics, community organisations, and suppliers to the resource sector. They tend to have the same complaints — systems that do not talk to each other, reporting nobody trusts, and an IT arrangement nobody owns.
We are not a reseller looking for something to sell you. We are the people who will look at what you have, tell you what is worth keeping, and fix what is not.
Our clients are not looking for a technology partner to be interesting. They want the systems to work, the invoice to match the quote, and someone to pick up the phone. That is a low bar that a lot of suppliers still miss — usually because nobody wrote anything down.
We started in 2016, which means we have watched a full generation of “game-changing” platforms arrive, get acquired, get sunset, and leave customers stranded. We choose tools we can support, document and hand over — and we assume the person maintaining this in three years will not be us.
That is also why every engagement produces documentation, credentials and a written record of decisions. A supplier who can be replaced easily is a supplier who has to keep earning the work.
Six rules we work to
These are the things we will not trade away, even when a job is on the line.
Tell the truth about the job
If a $2,000 fix solves it, we will not sell you a $40,000 project. We would rather have your next three jobs than oversell this one.
Write it down
Scopes, decisions, credentials, how the system works and why. Knowledge that lives in one person’s head is a risk you are paying for.
Secure by default
MFA, least privilege, patching and tested backups are the starting point — not an upsell at the end of the project.
Hand over properly
Documentation, training and access belong to you. A client who could leave is a client who stays.
One name, one number
You deal with the people doing the work. No account managers relaying messages between you and your own project.
Fix the boring things first
Backups, access and monitoring before new features. The unglamorous work is what keeps the business running.
If we do our job well, you stop thinking about IT. That is the actual product — not a portal, not a report, not a monthly meeting.
Six things this job teaches you
None of these are clever. All of them are cheaper to deal with before they cost you a week.
Nobody buys documentation
And everybody needs it the week after the person who built the system goes on leave.
The last 10% is the job
Reporting, exceptions, edge cases and training — the part that decides whether a system actually gets used.
Shared logins are a fuse
One password in three hands means no audit trail and no clean way to remove access.
An untested backup is an assumption
The only number that matters is how long a real restore takes.
Reports nobody opens are decoration
If a report does not change a decision, it is overhead with a schedule.
Cheap now is expensive in the data
Skipping structure on the way in costs multiples at the first integration.
Team names and photographs are added to this page once each person has agreed to be listed.
No surprises, no radio silence
Every engagement produces the same four things, whether it is a two-week fix or a year-long build. If a date is at risk, you hear it from us first — not at the end of the month.
- Written scope, assumptions and exclusions
- A staged plan with dates and owners
- Change requests priced before they are done
- A handover pack at the end, in your name
